Veterinary Doctor of the Universidad Austral and Senior Business Management Program (PADE) of the Universidad de Los Andes.

He has vast experience in the meat industry, having held senior positions in the company Carnes Ñuble for more than 35 years and advised various actors in the industry, highlighting his role as Director for the companies Chilebeef and Abaroa, among others, and President of the meatpacking plants association for more than 8 years.

His time as National Director of the Agricultural and Livestock Service stands out, where he managed to modernize the Service, from its internal organization to its closeness to its users, managing to provide operational continuity during the social outbreak and the covid-19 pandemic.
